What is the Road Test Waiver?
As an authorized ADOT/MVD third-party provider, ShiftPoint can administer the final road evaluation and issue a road test waiver to eligible students.
Instead of taking your teen to the MVD for their driving test, eligible students can complete their road test with ShiftPoint during their final lesson.
How it works:
01. Train with ShiftPoint Driving School.
Your teen completes their driving lessons and prepares for the final evaluation.
02. Take the road test with us.
Eligible students complete the same type of driving skills evaluation required by the MVD right in our training vehicle.
03. Pass → Receive your waiver.
If your teen passes, ShiftPoint issues the road test waiver. No separate MVD road test appointment is needed.
​03. Get licensed.
The waiver allows the student to complete the licensing process without taking the road test again at an MVD office.
