By completing our manual driving lessons plus exam or taking more than three manual driving lessons, you become eligible for our Manual driving certification course which means you will receive a certificate of completion of comprehensiveness.

Although manual driving is not a requirement for a lot of jobs, it is a huge plus! Just like being bilingual is not a requirement for most jobs, it stands out on your resume and makes you a strong candidate. To support our students who complete three lessons or more, they earn a manual driving certification course, which guarantees their efforts and comprehension.

Let's dive into this concept. When a young kid is asked, "What would you like to be when you grow up?" the kid will most likely respond with becoming a doctor, an astronaut, or the president of the United States, and most parents would be beyond proud of their children if they actually do end up in one of those professions. But what more commonly happens is that life has alternative plans for these young ones, and they find their passion as they grow and learn new things. Now you may be asking, where in the heck does a driving manual play a role in this? Well, learning to drive manual is yet another skill that may or may not play a role in their future careers. As for a lot of other people and me, I know, it actually did just that.

Before opening ShiftPoint, I was a student pilot. Training daily and living out a dream that my younger self never thought was possible. The reason for that is that when I was younger, I never thought of myself as someone who could actually fly a plane. But before that became a reality, there once was a time when my younger self didn't even know what made machines, such as a plane or a car run or work. Driving manual wasn't even in my field of vision because I didn't know what it was. It wasn't until I had the opportunity to painfully learn how to drive one because i was curious. and that is what sparked it all. I wanted to learn much more about anything and everything. I ended up buying my first car - a 280zx - fixed it up and gave me a sense of purpose. I went on to challenge my self and see what other things I could accomplish and that is when I thought (if i could drive manual, maybe I could fly a plane). Turns out flying a plane is nothing like driving a car and is it exceedingly more difficult but it motivated me to learn!

That's essentially what I am saying here. Allow yourself or your kid the opportunity to do something that seems hard and doesn't come automatically. Give yourself a challenge because when you overcome it, you become confident in yourself.

Oh and there are jobs that require you to drive manual too. Like heavy duty trucking such as tankers, dump trucks, and flatbeds, valet parking attendants, vehicle transporters, and specialized delivery drivers. Just give it a google search yourself!
