ShiftPoint's vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking and dual video monitoring, capturing both interior and exterior footage for enhanced safety and learning. Our vehicles are also equipped with dual controls (accelerator, brake, and clutch). This increases learner confidence, reduces anxiety, and foster's faster skill development by creating a safe space for error.

Depending on the lesson package purachased, our behind-the-wheel instructor will be tailored to fit the needs of each student depending on their starting skill level and their desired goals. Instructors will provide students with a variety of skill building exercises that prepare them to to either become skilled-manual drivers or recieve their drivers license including but not limited to the following: • High-volume traffic areas • RPM control • Pedal control • Downshifting (heel-toe) • Hillstarts • Feathering the clutch •  First gear/Reverse gear • Complex driving, such as downtown Phoenix • Airport and freeway driving • Parallel parking/3-point turn • Defensive Driving skills • Rural/Residential driving • Lane changing • Parking maneuvers • Uphill/Downhill parking • Scanning • Speed control If a student chooses to purchase our Manual Driving Lessons + Exam,(https://www.shiftpointdrivingschool.com/copy-of-manual-driving-lessons-exam) they will be given an evaluation on their last hour of instruction, administered by our MVD certified tester. Upon passing, this evaluation will waive the MVD road test. Every Driving package will include an insurance certificate.

ShiftPoint Driving School maintains a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel a drive less than 24 hours before your scheduled or are a no-show, there will be a $100 cancellation fee. If you contact us 24 hours before your lesson, you will recieve a a full credit to reschdule and no cancellation fee.
