ShiftPoint is Arizona's driving vocational school. Servicing Mesa, Fountain Hills, Chandler, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Glendale, Paradise Valley, Apache Junction, Rio Verde, Fountain Hills, Tempe, and Cave Creek. ShiftPoint is unlike many other schools, although our main focus is teaching how to drive manual, ShiftPoint can be seen as a Vocational School  because manual driving is becoming such a rare skill that it is highly valued in the job market.

By attending one of our monthly mechanic workshops, our students learn the basics which is (for most) their first stepping stone into an industry that is forever growing.

ShiftPoint, at its roots, is a business that wants to inspire change. We want to cause a shifting point in our students' lives by influencing them to take an interest in their cars through learning new (actually old) skills that are overlooked by most other driving schools. ShiftPoint offers the opportunity for our students to take mechanic workshops free of charge after attending one. We encourage our students to come back and learn more!

Since we differ from many other schools (including other driving schools) many questions we get involve our curriculum which includes a structure driver education program.

ShiftPoint strives to be the best experience for our students because we know that learning something new can be challenging, especially when it can be scary. After all, driving can be intimidating for some! And without structure, it can be a lot more challenging! Our structured driver education program brings organized lessons to each student, no matter their experience level, so that when our students leave ShiftPoint, they are confident enough to put manual driving on their resume!

By completing our manual driving lessons plus exam or taking more than three manual driving lessons, you become eligible for our Manual driving certification course which mean you will receive a certificate of completion of comprehensiveness.

Although manual driving is not a requirement for a lot of jobs, it is a huge plus! Just like being bilingual is not a requirement for most jobs, it stands out on your resume and makes you a strong candidate. To support our students who complete three lessons or more, they earn a manual driving certification course, which guarantees their efforts and comprehension.
